YOUR DONATIONS AT WORK: CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL OF MICHIGAN FOUNDATION AND SZOTT AUTO GROUP FUND VAN FOR FAMILIES STAYING AT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

If you have ventured down to Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation lately, you have likely noticed the construction going on at Children’s Hospital of Michigan DMC.  Due to this construction the existing Ronald McDonald House, located adjacent to Children’s Hospital of Michigan, is moving to provide space for the hospital’s Critical Care Tower which is currently under construction.  The Ronald McDonald House of Detroit provides low-cost housing for families who have a child receiving in-patient or out-patient care at a Detroit area hospital.

DONOR FEATURE: SPIRIT OF CHILDREN PROGRAM HELPS MAKE THINGS A LITTLE LESS SCARY FOR KIDS RECEIVING CARE

Thanks to the Spirit of Children program by Spirit Halloween stores, Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation will be able to continue supporting graduate fellowships in the child life department at Children’s Hospital of Michigan DMC.  Their generous donation helps make things a little less scary for kids receiving care at the hospital.

On February 19, 2015 Bill Clanton, Zone Manager for Michigan & Northern Ohio, and Dennis Hicks, District Sales Manager, presented the Foundation a check for $38,920. This is the eighth year that Spirit Halloween has partnered with Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation to support child life services. This year’s donation pushed their total donations to over $175,000!
